Mak was awarded the Distinguished Scientist Award by the International Society of Behavioural Medicine (ISBM) for her longstanding contributions to a deeper understanding of stigma and the potential of digital technologies in behavioural medicine, as well as to improving the health and well-being of minoritised and underserved populations.
